Our Spa Policies

 

City Spatique Policy: Appointment Payment & Cancellation Terms

At City Spatique, we are committed to providing a serene and high-quality experience for all our clients. To ensure fairness and efficiency, we have implemented the following policies for appointments, payments, and cancellations:
    1.    Appointment Payment Policy:
      •   A valid credit or debit card is required to secure all appointments.
      •    Your card will be automatically charged 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
      •   If the card on file is declined, the appointment will be automatically canceled, and the time slot will be released.
      •   By scheduling an appointment, you authorize City Spatique to process the payment according to this policy.
    2.    Cancellation and Refund Policy:
      •   Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before your appointment to avoid charges.
      •   For appointments scheduled on a Tuesday, cancellations must be made by 5:00 PM on the Saturday prior, as we are closed on Sunday and Monday.
      •   Appointments canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable, and no exceptions will be made, including emergencies.
      •   Refunds or credits will not be issued for missed appointments or same-day cancellations.
    3.    Late Arrivals:
      •   Clients arriving late to their appointment may receive a shortened service to respect the next client’s booking. 
      •   Arrivals later than 15 minutes will be considered a missed appointment.
    4.    No Exceptions Policy:
      •   To maintain fairness and consistency for all clients, no exceptions will be made to these policies. This includes unforeseen emergencies or personal circumstances.
    5.    Respecting Our Team’s Time:
      •  These policies allow us to manage our schedule effectively and offer the best possible experience for everyone.
    6.    Confirmation of Policies:
      •   By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and accept City Spatique’s payment and cancellation policies.
      •   By accepting these terms, you authorize City Spatique to charge the card on file 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

How much time do I have to cancel my appointment?
You will have 48 hours to cancel your appointment if you scheduled for yourself or for 2 people. If you are a group of 3 or more we will need to know 48 hours before your appointment.

What if I don't show up for my appointment?
If you do not show up for your appointment you will be charged for the full amount of the scheduled service.

What if I am late for my appointment?
If you are late for your appointment we will still provide you with your service for the time that is left so our next guests service will not be delayed and will also be charged for the original time that your appointment was scheduled for.

What if I don't call to cancel my appointment?
This will also be treated as a No-Show, which means you will be charged for the full service of your appointment. A cancelled appointment delays our work and also takes away a chance for somebody else to schedule with us.Many people do not understand, though, that when we make appointments with you, it is not one-way - our staff is waiting to meet you as much as you are with them. There are many times that other people want the same times or appointments as you, and we cannot accommodate them due to our prior commitment (to you).

How do I cancel my appointment?
Easy. Give us a call or leave a voice message  as soon as you know you can't make your appointment. Our phone number is 417-348-1030. If you do not confirm your appointment we could assume you are not coming. So, please be sure always confirm. 

No-shows and or Arriving late
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a "no-show". They will be charged for their missed appointment and future service or services may be denied until payment is made in full and/or you prepay for your service if you book any appointments in the future.
Any one who is more than twenty minutes late for their appointment will be treated as a No-Show and charges will apply for the full session booked.
Depending upon how late you arrive , your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment and regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the "full" session.


What about payment for Spa services?
We accept all major credit cards. For your convenience, payment is also accepted prior to your treatments, upon request. There is a 3.5% service charge on all debit / credit card transactions will apply. You can pay with cash this way you won't have service charge .

What about gratuities?
If services were satisfactory, please feel free to leave gratuity which will be distributed to the Spa staff who served you during your visit. Gratuities are not included in service.

HEALTH QUESTIONS

What if I am pregnant?

While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa Desk Agent if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL

When should I arrive?

For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you to relax in our lounge and fill out the intake forms.

UPON ARRIVAL

What should I wear during my treatment?

Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing, however, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped,except for the area being worked on.

What about my comfort?
This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify us of any discomforts or preferences. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in The Spa.

 

Saturday Appointment Policy only!

Due to high demand, our Saturday appointments require special booking terms. Please review the following policy before scheduling:
    1.    Card on File: A valid credit card is required to book all Saturday appointments.
    2.    Prepayment on Thursday: For appointments booked for Saturday, the card on file will be charged the full service amount on Thursday (48 hours prior) to secure the reservation.
    3.    Non-Refundable Payment: Payments made for Saturday appointments are non-refundable, regardless of cancellation, rescheduling, or emergencies.
    4.    Same-Week Bookings: If you book a Saturday appointment on Thursday or Friday, the card on file will be charged the full amount at the time of booking. This payment is also non-refundable.
    5.    Declined Payments: If the card on file is declined for any reason, the appointment will be automatically canceled.
